How YOU can help...

One person truly can make a difference, and YOU can be one of those people.

We know that people are concerned for wildlife by the increasing numbers of animal brought to us each day by Good Samaritans. However, the story doesn't end there.  We need YOUR help to be able to provide the care needed to rehabilitate and release wildlife.

Volunteer. We normally house 50-100 animals on any given day. Each needs to be cleaned, fed and medicated usually several times a day. Just volunteering a few hours a week makes a difference! The Haven is in need of volunteer every single day.  We also need help with mounting administrative duties. With plans for expansion in the works, we are in need of people to make phone calls, solicit funds, submit grant applications, assist with our quarterly newsletter and much, much more.

Make a financial contribution.  A direct way you can help is by making a monetary donation. Every donation helps us keep our doors open to Florida wildlife and makes it possible for us to provide the proper care needed to rehabilitate a wild animal.  Since we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible!

Donate supplies.  There are many items needed in the daily care of wildlife.  Check out our Needs List on the left side bar.  Some of these items you may have just laying around the house! Please be sure to also check out our Wish List.

Organize a fundraiser. Have your club, organization, workplace team, or scout troop hold a fundraiser raising money or supplies to help the critters.  This is a fun way to motivate a group to helping the community through a charitable event.

Membership is a wonderful way to help an become a part of our team. Besides contributing financially, you will also receive our quarterly newsletter full of stories about our animal, updates on our projects and ways that you can help wildlife in your own back yard!  Memberships also make a great gift for the wildlife enthusiast in your life!
