One person truly can make a difference in the life of an animal!
We know that people are concerned for wildlife by the increasing numbers of animals brought to us each day by good samaritans. However, the story doesn't end there. We need your help to be able to provide the care needed to rehabilitate and release wildlife!
Volunteer - We currently have one volunteer position open on Thursday mornings. Shifts start at 8:00am and depending on the season, can end anywhere from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Volunteers are responsible for feeding baby animals, cleaning cages (yes, that means poop too) both indoors and outdoors, preparing meals, and washing dishes. Volunteers are required to be at least 16 years of age and must sign a waiver of liability.
Foster - Seasonally, we need fosters to help manage the influx of baby animals, especially squirrels. Fosters will be responsible for providing their own cage, scheduled feedings, and cage cleaning. We will provide formula, and generally animals are returned to us once they're past the "nursery" stage. Please give us a call and leave a message to be added to our potential fosters list.
Make a financial contribution - The number one way you can help us is by making a monetary donation. No one likes to beg for funding, but we truly rely on the generosity of the community to keep our doors open. Every donation ensures that we are able to provide the proper care needed to rehabilitate a wild animal. Since we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible! Please see our Donate & Shop page for easy ways to donate!
Donate supplies - There are many items needed in the daily care of wildlife. Check out our needs list on the Donate & Shop page.
Organize a fundraiser - Have your club, organization, workplace team, or scout troop hold a fundraiser raising money or supplies to help the critters. This is a fun way to motivate a group to helping the community through a charitable event. Thank you to Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe for hosting a fundraising even for us in 2023!
